VEHICLE CONVERSIONS & RACKING SPECIALIST

LEICESTERSHIRE

Up to £40K DOE, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and overtime available

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

A growing and innovative branding solutions company is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Conversions & Racking Operator to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in vehicle fit-outs, racking installations and auto electrical work to contribute to high-quality bespoke vehicle conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing modular and custom racking systems in a range of commercial vehicles
• Carrying out auto electrical installations including lighting, power systems, and other accessories
• Assisting with full vehicle conversion projects from start to finish
• Working from technical drawings and layouts to ensure accurate assembly and fitting
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Conducting quality control checks on all finished work
• Supporting a clean, organised and health-and-safety-compliant workshop environment

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in vehicle conversions, racking installations or similar technical fitting roles
• Knowledge of basic auto electrics, including wiring and fitting accessories
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence preferred
• A practical, hands-on mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude
