Our client is a recognised global specialist in the design and manufacture of advanced finishing equipment for the label and packaging sectors. Their portfolio includes Narrow Web Label Slitter Rewinders, Inspection Slitter Rewinders, Rotary Die-Cutting Rewinders, Digital Label Converting Finishing Systems, and Flexible Packaging Finishing Equipment. With a strong reputation for engineering excellence, innovation, and customer support, they supply leading label converters and printers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in capital equipment sales within the label converting, narrow-web printing, or print machinery sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve annual revenue and growth targets across the UK and Ireland.
  • Manage, nurture, and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with label converters, printers, and packaging manufacturers.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and ROI discussions to technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.

  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and customer visits across the UK, Ireland, and occasional overseas travel when required.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and market intelligence to the senior leadership team.
  • Maintain detailed records within the CRM system and follow the full sales cycle from enquiry through to close.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in capital equipment sales, ideally within narrow-web printing, label converting, or related print machinery sectors.
  • Strong understanding of label production processes, finishing systems, or print/packaging workflows.
  • Demonstrable success in both account management and new business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK & Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent an industry-leading brand with strong engineering heritage and market presence who are embarking on a 20 year investment and growth plan.
