STUDIO / PRE PRESS ARTWORKER - LABELS & PACKAGING

Salary: Circa £25-29K (DOE) + Bonus up to 8% + 30 Days Holiday + Pension after 3 months

Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm

Our client is a growing and fast-paced label manufacturing company supplying high-quality printed labels across a wide range of industries. They pride themselves on precision, efficiency, and delivering excellent customer service.
Now looking for a talented and detail-oriented Studio / Pre Press Artworker to join the team for an onsite role.

You will be responsible for preparing artwork for digital production, ensuring all files are technically correct and ready for print. The position involves working closely with customers, production teams, and sales staff to ensure artwork meets client requirements while maintaining efficient production workflows.

The ideal candidate will have digital printing experience with HP, Xeikon or Inkjet presses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and amending artwork for print production
  • Pre-flighting files and ensuring print readiness
  • Setting up cutter guides, bleed, colour profiles, and separations
  • Retouching images and adjusting artwork where required
  • Liaising with customers regarding artwork queries and approvals
  • Working closely with production and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintaining organised digital filing systems
  • Ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Studio / Pre Press Artworker role (print industry experience preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) or Hybrid Packz software would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Good understanding of print processes, colour management systems, and file setup
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
