Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Signage Assembly and Letter Maker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of a variety of signs, including 3D letters, illuminated signage, vinyl graphics, and other custom-made products. This role requires precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of materials and signage production techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate a wide range of signs including 3D letters, LED illuminated signs, acrylic, aluminum, and vinyl-based signage.
- Operate machinery such as CNC routers, laser cutters, vinyl plotters, and other fabrication tools.
- Cut, shape, and prepare materials (acrylic, aluminium, PVC, MDF, etc.) for sign production.
- Apply vinyl graphics, decals, and digital prints onto various substrates.
- Handle wiring and installation of LED lighting for illuminated signage.
- Ensure all signage is produced to company standards of quality, accuracy, and finish.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with design and installation teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Perform quality control checks before dispatch or installation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in signage fabrication, assembly, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with CNC, laser cutting, and vinyl application preferred.
- Good understanding of sign-making materials and finishing techniques.
- Basic electrical knowledge for LED wiring (advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings and technical files.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
