SHEETFED LITHO PRINTER - METAL DECORATION

📍 LOCATION WEST YORKSHIRE

⏰ Shift Pattern: x12 hrs Monday to Thursday | Rotating days & nights weekly

💷 Salary: £16-18per hour | Overtime x1.5 and Sundays double time | 20% shift rate on the Night shift after 10 pm | Holidays 23 days (4-day Pro-Rata) + Bank Holidays

Our Client are a specialist manufacturer providing end-to-end metal packaging solutions, including design, printing, and coating for industries such as paint, chemical, food, and aerosol. They require a Sheetfed Litho Printer ideally with metal decoration experience to be responsible for the proper performance of tasks as detailed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling the printing line
• Print quality control
• Acknowledgment of print compatibility with the design
• Mixing inks for production
• Follow instructions and procedures
• Line maintenance
• Maintaining order in the workplace
• Maximising capacity utilisation of the machine
• Working on the coating lines
• Training for other employees
• Production reporting
• Adherence to the BRC / IOP, HACCP hygiene rules and environmental standards ISO 14001 described in procedures, instructions and in others Internal documents
• Applying the principles of the Quality Management System described in the procedures, instructions and other internal documents.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience operating metal printing presses - knowledge of offset printing with thermal and UV drying
• Strong understanding of and assistance with coating lines
• Fork Lift Truck Licence holder is desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
