Now seeking a high-performing, commercially astute Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across the UK and European markets. This is a role for a true industry "big hitter" - someone with established, senior-level contacts in major FMCG brands and a proven track record of securing large-scale, high-value contracts.
You will leverage a world-class product range (includes Pressure Sensitive, Self-adhesive Labels, Shrink Sleeves, Sheet-fed Offset, Wet Glue Labels, Composite Tube Wraps, Anti-counterfeit / Tamper Evident Seals, Track & Trace Technology & Smart Labelling Solutions and global infrastructure to offer your customers full-service solutions, better quality products, and superior service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities with large FMCG brands across the UK and Europe.
- Leverage established industry contacts to accelerate pipeline growth and secure high-value, long-term partnerships.
- Position the company as the supplier of choice for premium, sustainable, and innovative label solutions.
- Collaborate with technical, production, and design teams to create tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Represent the business at key industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence.
- Provide market intelligence to senior leadership to shape product development and competitive positioning.
Key Requirements
- Proven track record of success in senior business development roles ideally within the labels sector however other print or packaging experience will be considered.
- Extensive network of senior contacts within major FMCG brands.
- Ability to close complex, high-value deals and manage long sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of technical aspects of label production and ability to communicate value propositions effectively.
- Strategic thinker with the drive and resilience to win significant market share.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe.
