Our client is a well-established and growing flexible packaging manufacturer, supplying high-quality printed and converted films, laminates and pouches across both food and non-food markets.
Backed by strong financial stability and ambitious growth plans, they are seeking a Sales Manager to join their UK team.
This role will be a mix of new business development and account management, ideal for a proven sales professional confident in opening doors, developing long-term partnerships, and managing key accounts.
Key Skills / Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in food and non-food markets, particularly within protein, bakery, snacks, confectionery and pet food sectors.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through structured development and exceptional customer service.
- Build strong internal and external relationships, collaborating with production, technical, and supply chain teams to deliver tailored packaging solutions.
- Provide customers with innovative, sustainable, and technically advanced flexible packaging solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
- Confidently present and negotiate with buyers and technical teams at all levels.
Experience:
- Flexible packaging sales experience is preferred
- Demonstrable track record of winning new business and growing accounts, ideally within FMCG or other fast-paced B2B environments.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
- Excellent communicator, relationship builder, and negotiator.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to thrive in a collaborative culture.
