Rotating Weekly Pattern (Monday to Friday)
Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00

The company is looking for a detail-oriented Inspection Finisher / Rewind Operator to join its night shift operations. This position plays a key role in the final stages of production, ensuring the quality and precision of printed rolls before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Rewind Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, slitting, and finishing printed material from master rolls to meet customer specifications. Operating automated rewind machinery, your focus will be on quality control, accurate labeling, and safe, efficient operation.
  • Load master reels into the rewind machine based on job specifications and identification labels
  • Measure, cut, and rewind material to correct length and core diameter as specified
  • Use inspection systems to identify and remove substandard print material
  • Set blades to appropriate widths for slitting in accordance with safety guidelines
  • Print and apply accurate inner/outer core and traceability labels
  • Ensure that all finished rolls are correctly labeled and meet company and client requirements
  • Follow line clearance procedures thoroughly between jobs
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and ensure cleanliness and calibration of machinery

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience operating rewind or inspection equipment within a print, packaging, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently on a night shift
  • Ability to follow detailed job instructions and safety protocols
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with AVT or other automated inspection systems is a plus
  • Reliable, well-organised, and proactive approach to work
