PROJECT MANAGER - AUDIO VISUAL / DIGITAL DISPLAYS

CHESHIRE / MERSEYSIDE - Hybrid, 2 Days Office Based

Up to £42K + Company Pension Scheme + 22 Days Holiday (increasing by 1 day per completed year of service)

Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Our client is a well-established and growing Audio Visual solutions provider, delivering innovative AV and digital display projects across the hospitality, retail and corporate sectors. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee projects from initiation through to successful completion.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative environment, managing national projects while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, clients and external partners.

Role Purpose: To plan, execute and deliver AV projects within agreed scope, timeframes and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

Scope of the Role

  • Internal Relationships: Collaborate closely with internal teams and senior management to ensure project progress and alignment with business goals.
  • External Relationships: Manage communications with clients, suppliers and partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Geographical Scope: Projects are typically UK-wide, with travel generally limited to a couple of days per month.
  • Budget Responsibility: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives, scope and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and manage risks proactively
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and senior management
  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships
  • Ensure project outputs meet quality standards and compliance requirements
  • Conduct project reviews and implement lessons learned
  • Produce regular project reports for leadership review
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow governance processes

Person Specification

  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with project planning and reporting tool
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing projects from start to completion
  • Audio Visual industry knowledge or experience
  • Experience with Agile or PRINCE2 methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Budget management and financial forecasting experience
