We are representing a well-established and growing large-format print and signage business with a headcount of 32 and an annual turnover of approx. £5-6 million. Due to continued success and recent investment in a new workflow software, they are seeking an experienced Production Manager or Production Coordinator to join their team and take ownership of workflow management and production scheduling.

The Role:
You will oversee a team of 8 direct reports, including Fabricators and Print Operators, ensuring that production runs smoothly from start to finish. Working closely with Estimators, you'll process jobs after quoting and manage them through Fabrication, Print, Zund cutting, and final sign-off. A key part of this role will be allocating jobs correctly at the start of the week, monitoring progress throughout, and re-prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Their kit includes: Screen Printers, Agfa's, Zund, CNC, Roll to Roll Rolands and Mimaki's

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day workflow across Fabrication and Print teams (8 direct reports).
  • Scheduling and allocating jobs at the start of each week, ensuring accurate planning.
  • Monitoring jobs throughout production to maintain quality and timely delivery.
  • Liaising with Estimators to process jobs through to completion.
  • Managing production priorities to meet client deadlines.
  • Driving efficiency and supporting a positive, motivated production team.
  • Using Clarity software (experience desirable but not essential).

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven background in Large Format Print and / or Signage production.
  • Previous team leadership or production management experience.
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Clarity software experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys leading a team to deliver exceptional results.
