PRODUCTION CONTROLLER OR SCHEDULING MANAGER - PRINT

Our client is an industry leader who has a fantastic range of services to offer their customers including: Commercial Print - Litho and Digital, Direct Mail & Postage and Data Services. With an already impressive turnover the company have big growth plans over the next 2-3 year and are looking to recruit a Production Controller OR a Scheduling Manager to head up a team of 5 across, digital products, projects, procurement, data and repro.
Job Purpose
To produce 100% accurate works instruction to enable the accurate scheduling of litho print production to meet customer demands and to support the Company's manufacturing processes.

- 98% OTIF
- 100% job bag accuracy
- 42% gross margin
- 70> NPS
Key Accountabilities
- Receive job brief from Account Developer / Account Director
- Amends narrative of job bag to show accurate production information (including the internal trafficking of work, use of third-party suppliers, goods in and out processes)
- Re-plans job within Tharstern MIS to show 100% accurate method of working
- Orders any consumables required (paper, ink, outwork)
- Loads / pre-loads jobs onto production planning board and produces lists for production
- Understands capacity issues within all areas and amends plans accordingly
- Attends morning production meeting to share insight into the digital print area
- Understands the high standard of quality and customer care
- Works within a team to cover all aspects of production planning
General
- To comply with the Company's Information Security Management System at all times
- To comply with all Health and Safety and Quality and Environmental Management System policies and procedures adopted by the Company at all times
- To pro-actively participate in the development, operation and improvement of the Company's Management Systems in relation to our external accreditations and legal obligations, for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and Health and Safety

- To fulfill the Company's requirements with regard to the Company's Management Information Systems at all times
