Salary: Day rate up to £32,198 per annum | Night rate up to £35,417 per annum
(Hourly pay dependent on experience) + Overtime opportunities available + 26 days holiday for a 5-day shift plus bank holidays; 22 days for 36-hour shift + Other Benefits Below

We are recruiting for a leading print solutions provider renowned for delivering high-quality print products across multiple sectors, including packaging, commercial print, and specialist applications. With a commitment to innovation and investment in cutting edge technology, the company operates state of the art litho and web presses, supporting both traditional and UV-LED printing methods. The Northants site is a hub of technical expertise, offering employees the opportunity to work on advanced machinery and develop their careers in a forward thinking environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Printer (with either Litho or Web experience) to join this innovative team. This role is ideal for experienced press operators who are looking to work on high-specification machinery in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain large-format presses, including:
  • XL Heidelberg 106 10-colour Perfector
  • Kamori G38 Web press with UV ink
  • Ensure high-quality production standards are consistently met
  • Troubleshoot and resolve press issues efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production schedules
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week over 3 days

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating litho or web presses
  • Strong technical understanding of press operation and maintenance
  • Experience on high-specification machines is advantageous
  • Experience with LED-UV on a Kamori G38 is highly desirable (UK's only machine of this type) and will be considered for higher rates

Salary Note:

  • The day rate tops at £32,198 pa and night shifts £35,417 pa.
  • Exceptional experience, particularly on LED-UV Kamori G38 presses, may lead to higher rates.
