PRE-PRESS OPERATOR - LARGE FORMAT, EVENTS AND EXHIBITIONS

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Our client is a large format print company focused on exhibitions and events. Their services include artworking, production and installation from their facilities in Warwickshire. An opportunity has arisen for a Pre-Press Operator to join their growing team.

The role of Pre-Press Operator will be based within the studio/pre-press department, preparing and processing files for large format print production. You will be responsible for ensuring all artwork is accurate, print-ready and optimised for production across a range of wide format equipment. This is a technical, non-creative role focused on file setup, workflow efficiency and quality control.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a pre-press or artworker role within large format print.
• Strong knowledge of file preparation for print including resolution, colour profiles, scaling and bleed.
• Experience using RIP software such as Asanti or similar.
• Ability to check and amend artwork to ensure it is production-ready.
• Understanding of large format materials and print processes.
• Knowledge of 3D file handling or visualisation would be beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills, liaising with internal teams.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Health and safety awareness within a production environment.
• Flexible work attitude.
