PACKAGING MACHINERY UK SALES REPRESENTATIVE
PREFERRED LOCATIONS ARE THE SOUTH EAST, EAST MIDLANDS OR EAST ANGLIA
SALARY UP TO CIRCA £60K, plus Commission + Car + Pension + 28 Days Holiday
Our client is a specialist in the supply of innovative packaging machinery solutions for the food industry from tray de-nesters to check weighers / weigh labellers and netting machines. All products are designed for the fast, efficient, and gentle handling of a wide selection of products with a majority focus on Food Growers / Packers.
They are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Machinery Salesperson to join the team, to introduce themselves to the current customer base to look at upsell opportunities.
To Be Responsible For:
- Managing internal and external relationships across the UK region; sales, partners, OEMs, key Accounts and key suppliers, improving engagement and interaction to deliver against customers' requirements
- Sales strategy and development in regions with indirect and direct sales
- Product line management from development, launch to end of life
- Applying in-depth knowledge of markets to improve margin and unit sales whilst driving revenue and profitability
- There are an estimated £2-4Million sales opportunities within the existing customer base before any new business development is required, as current customers are not serviced at 100%
The Successful UK Sales Representative Will:
- Be a high energy, enthusiastic, and driven individual that can work in a structured, target oriented manner
- Have a proven track record of success in a technical sales environment with at least 3 years' experience in the Produce/ Food Packing machinery market
- An excellent communicator who can build strong internal and external relationships
- Have a technical aptitude and be able to present technical information effectively at a variety of business function levels
- Be able to travel extensively throughout the UK and oversees when required
- Able to work effectively independently, as well as be a part of a team
