NEW BUSINESS SALES MANAGER - PHARMACEUTICAL, VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS, MINERALS & BODY CARE PACKAGING

Location: Anywhere in the UK

Salary: Competitive (DOE) + Bonus + Car/Allowance

Our client is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of primary packaging solutions. With in-house quality-compliant design, development, and fully accredited cleanroom manufacturing, they specialise in PP, PET, HDPE, and LDPE bottles plus tamper evident closures and also glass packaging. Their products are trusted across pharmaceutical, vitamins, supplements, minerals, and body care sectors, supporting brands that demand both functionality and regulatory compliance.

They need an ambitious and energetic New Business Development Manager to help expand their clientele across the UK. You will be the front of the company and will require the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through generating new business and forging strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Present the company's products / services addressing or predicting clients' objectives.
  • Keep records of pipeline, sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • CRM must be updated.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with new customers.
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse key account metrics (e.g. Weekly, Monthly, quarterly sales results, product usage, meetings).
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.

Requirements

  • A Positive, Can-do Attitude and Motivation for sales!
  • Hungry, Humble, Smart.
  • 3 years+ Proven work experience in Sales and Business Development with a proven track record.
  • The ability to plan, prospect, gain opportunities and CLOSE deals!
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience.
  • Professionalism - Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office.
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.

This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from the office, with regular office visits required.
