Our client, a renowned international leader in custom molding of PET, PP, and HDPE packaging, is seeking a dynamic New Business Development Manager. They serve diverse industries such as household, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and food & dairy. Role Overview: In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities. This is a pure new business role, where the successful candidate will have the chance to retain and manage high-potential accounts while smaller accounts are managed internally. This position offers the autonomy to organise your workload and focus on opening new doors, free from the daily management of existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for the company and customers, fostering strong relationships.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and qualify new opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Business Development: Transform leads into new business opportunities and loyal customers.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with product selection and provide necessary product training.
  • Reporting: Compile accurate and timely reports as required by management.

What You'll Bring:

  • Business Acumen: Proven skills in new business generation, preferably in machinery sales or packaging.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work autonomously, organising your own workload and focusing on new opportunities.
  • Innovative Thinking: Eager to explore and develop new verticals and markets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal staff and customers.
