Up to £15 per hour (dependent on experience) + Overtime: Weekdays 1.25x / Weekends 1.5x + Pension

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm

Our client is a professional trade-only sign manufacturer based in the East Midlands, specialising in high-quality internal and external signage, with full in-house facilities to manage projects from concept through to completion.

They are currently seeking an experienced Large Format Printer to join their production team. The role will primarily involve operating a Roland Resin large format printer, while also being flexible and capable of supporting finishing processes including laminating, plotting, and general print room duties.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, technically confident, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment where quality, efficiency, and teamwork are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Roland Resin large format printer safely and efficiently
  • Preparing print files and setting up print jobs to meet production specifications
  • Monitoring colour consistency and print quality
  • Loading media and ensuring correct material handling
  • Operating laminators, vinyl plotters, and cutting equipment as required
  • Trimming, mounting, and finishing printed graphics
  • Conducting quality control checks before dispatch
  • Performing routine printer maintenance and reporting faults
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Working closely with the design and production teams to meet deadlines

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience operating large format printers (Roland experience highly desirable)
  • Experience working with a variety of media including vinyl, banner material, wall vinyl, and rigid substrates
  • Good understanding of colour management and print workflows
  • Experience using laminators and vinyl cutters / plotters
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to manage multiple jobs and prioritise workload
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
