£Open (Depending On Experience) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Healthcare + Pension

Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm

Our client based in the Northwest is a well-established company working within the large format print, general signage and event branding sectors.

They are now looking to recruit a Large Format Printer / Artworker to join their team. The chosen candidate will be proficient in operating Large Format Machinery (ideally Agfa Flatbed but any transferable Large Format experience considered) Creative Cloud; Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign with experience in the large format or signage industry. Experience in Prime Centre would be of an advantage however not essential.

The role will be split 50% Printing and 50% Art Working.

Printer Responsibilities:

• Operate large format printing equipment.
• Responsible for operating and maintaining the large format printing equipment to produce high-quality prints according to customer specifications.
• Vinyl application
• Report directly to the Production Manager
• Liaise with other departments.

Artworker Responsibilities:

• Following clients brand guidelines.
• Setting up artwork for large format prints
• Creation of designs and artwork, from initial concept to final print ready files
• Must have proficient experience with PC platform
• Have a creative flair, a meticulous attention to detail and excellent proof reading skills
• Have a methodical approach to checking digital files
• Be able to balance and prioritise multiple projects, often under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Prepare projects for production
• Ability to understand and follow corporate guidelines
• Proactive, with the ability to problem solve and have a flexible outlook
