FLEXO PRINTER / NO2 PRINTER - FLEXIBLE PACKAGING

COMMUTABLE FROM MERSEYSIDE, NORTH CHESHIRE & GREATER MANCHESTER

SHIFTS: TUES / WED / THURS - ROTATING 12 HOUR DAYS & NIGHTS

£30K-£31K + Overtime Paid 1 ½ Midweek / Weekends - Double Time

Our client is a well-established manufacturer who specialise in flexographic printing, lamination and slitting. They are currently looking to recruit a Flexo Printer to work to high standards in line with company targets and procedures.

Previous experience running wide web Flexo Presses is desirable but time served Printers in other areas of flexo print will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• To Operate 8+1 Flexographic Printing Press in a safe and efficient manner
• Produce work to the agreed quality standards and outputs.
• Adhere to BRC standard policy & procedures and documents included in the training programme.
• To carry out production tasks in a safe manner, whilst adhering to the approved methods of working which conform with the BRC standard
• To prepare jobs as per Job/Technical File instructions. Repeat jobs are signed off to an approved sample. New Jobs will be signed off in one of the following ways - GMG/Pantone, Customer sign off, Sample match.
• To produce consistently to the sign off sample
• To maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the production area.
• To run machines to maximise productivity i.e. change over times, running speeds etc.
• To assist and support the supervision in introducing new processes and ideas.
