FLEXO PRINTER

Up to £39K + 5% Pension + 28 Days Holidays

Day shifts: 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday with potential to move to double days in the future.

Our client offers complete packaging solutions to a wide range of major food producers and industrial companies across the UK and Europe.

They are currently recruiting for a Flexo Printer to operate a new 8 colour Flexotechnica MG8 press. Experience would be to have previously operated any wide web flexo presses, however other narrow web flexo press experience will be considered.

Day to day duties will involve setting up and make ready of the press, running the press to maximum efficiencies, cleaning down and assisting with other tasks as and when required. There may be requirements to operate other machinery within the business if necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Daily productivity responsibility ensuring that individual schedule and targets set are achieved.
• Ensuring that jobs are produced to the highest quality level and that the quality procedures are followed.
• Responsibility for cleanliness and general maintenance of equipment used in the process.
• You are required to relay information through the specification sheet on how jobs are produced and exactly what settings are required to repeat the process.
