Shift Schedule Rotating weekly shifts, Monday to Friday:
Early Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
Late Shift: 14:00 - 22:00

Key Responsibilities

• This role involves the setup, operation, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses - including narrow web, multi-colour, servo-driven equipment. The successful candidate will ensure efficient press runs while meeting high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.
• Operate flexographic printing machines in line with job specifications and production schedules.
• Set up presses, load materials, and mix/maintain inks and solvents as required.
• Monitor print runs to ensure colour accuracy, registration, and print quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues during production.
• Record shift output and communicate any production or quality deviations.
• Work proactively to reduce waste, minimise downtime, and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with the production team and Supervisors to meet delivery targets.
• Follow departmental quality and safety procedures and help maintain compliance.
• Support team goals through effective communication and shared problem-solving.

Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience operating flexographic presses, ideally with multi-colour and narrow web configurations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify and resolve process issues.
• Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining consistent print quality.
• Good organisational skills and ability to follow job instructions accurately.
• Team-oriented with good interpersonal communication.
• Understanding of compliance standards such as SEDEX and ETI (beneficial but not required).
