We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer (Industrial) to join the dynamic team in the South East. This role is pivotal to continued success and growth.

As a Field Service Engineer specialising in industrial equipment, you will be the first point of contact for clients, providing expert installation, maintenance, and repair services. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will ensure that machinery operates at peak performance, minimising downtime and maximising client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of industrial machinery on-site.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently to reduce client downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment use and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to provide feedback and improve product performance.
  • Manage your schedule effectively to meet customer commitments and respond to emergency call-outs.
  • Always ensure compliance with health and safety standards during field operations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role within the industrial engineering sector.
  • Strong understanding of industrial machinery, electronics, and mechanical systems.
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as a Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote role.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast region.
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
