EXTRUSION OPERATOR

£34,800 + OVERTIME PAID 1 ½

HOURS OF WORK: 12-Hour Rotating - 2 Days / 2 Nights, Followed By 4 Days Off

My client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality polythene film products providing their clients with a range of shrink & none shrink, polythene film, sheeting, dolav liners, furniture, pallet wrap and mattress covers. They are currently seeking experienced Extrusion Operators to join their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate blown film extrusion lines safely and efficiently
• Monitor machine performance, making adjustments to maintain product quality and minimise waste
• Conduct quality checks and complete production records accurately
• Perform start-ups, shut-downs, and product changeovers as required
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or processing issues
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets and ensure a clean, safe working area
• Proven experience working in an extrusion or similar plastic manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of production processes and machine operations
• Quality-focused with attention to detail
