A leading flexible packaging manufacturer, providing the full range of solutions including protective packaging, stretch film, cast PP, collation films, baling wrap and polythene products into end users and distributors.

They are currently recruiting a dynamic and results-driven External Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, managing existing accounts and delivering tailored packaging solutions to meet client needs.

You'll play a key role in expanding customer base and enhancing client relationships.

The role will be approx. 70% New Business 30% Account Management the chosen candidate will be from either a manufacturer or distributor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the stretch film, packaging tape, and polythene market
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through regular site visits, follow-ups and technical support
  • Conduct on-site assessments to understand customer packaging operations and recommend optimal product solutions
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, product demos and pricing proposals
  • Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals with decision-makers across various industries (e.g. warehousing, distribution, manufacturing)
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape and product innovations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery accuracy
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Experience Required:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the packaging industry (stretch film, tape or related products)
  • Strong technical knowledge of stretch film types (e.g. machine film, hand film, pre-stretch) and adhesive tape solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management and organisational abilities
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
  • Background in selling to logistics, distribution, food & beverage or manufacturing sectors
