Our client is a leading UK-based manufacturer and supplier of high-performance PE packaging solutions, serving a diverse range of markets.
They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager, who will be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with key industrial customers. This role requires a mix of strategic market research, hands-on customer engagement, and proactive sales initiatives. You will manage existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities within target sectors.
The candidate must be willing to travel to Ireland, Europe and USA as and when necessary
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Proven experience in a business development or technical sales role within industrial packaging, preferably PE-based solutions.
- Knowledge of FFS films, PE valve bags, Stretch Hooding, and laminated films/bags is highly desirable.
- The ability to introduce FIBCs and Paper / board-based packaging is also of merit.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with technical and procurement stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
