BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PRINTED LABELS

MIDLANDS / SOUTH OF ENGLAND / SOUTH WALES (FIELD BASED)

Salary Up to £50,000 + Incentives + Car/Allowance + Benefits

Our Client is a well-established, high-quality label manufacturer, producing everything from blank and thermal labels to short-run digital and long-run flexo. Capabilities include peel & read, multi-layer booklet labels, hot & cold foil, and embossing, servicing most vertical & horizontal markets.

They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new sales and grow the customer base across the UK. This is a field-based role ideal for someone with strong industry knowledge and a proactive approach. The focus in year one will be on developing new business through known contacts and warm leads. There are very realistic achievable first-year targets and long-term account ownership as you develop your portfolio. From year two onwards, you'll also manage and grow all accounts you've opened-providing excellent earning and progression potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To identify and approach prospective customers across multiple market sectors
  • Present the full label product portfolio with confidence and clarity
  • Convert leads into long-term customers by building trust and demonstrating value
  • Manage your own pipeline and CRM reporting
  • Maintain regular contact with new and existing customers to maximise account value
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and high customer satisfaction

Key Requirements:

  • Label sales experience preferred, but they will consider strong candidates from other flexo or digital printed packaging sectors
  • Proven B2B sales success with the ability to build and manage relationships
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently
  • Based in the Midlands, South of England, or South Wales is preferred although other locations will also be considered for exceptional candidates
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
