Our client is a progressive, fast moving UK business providing managed procurement and sourcing solutions for workplace essentials: stationery, branded merchandise, workwear, labels, furniture and more. They operate a 100% outsourced sales model, servicing both new business opportunities and existing client accounts (with portions of the book being passed over). They're seeking a sales-focused individual, either an experienced sales candidate who can bring business with them, or a dynamic Account Manager who is looking to step into a full sales role.
In this role you will:
- Take responsibility for a mix of new business development and account management of existing relationships.
- Identify, engage and secure new customers (SME through corporate) across the product portfolio (stationery, branded wear, labels, furniture etc).
- Manage and grow key client relationships, maximise revenue from existing account base, cross-sell and upsell additional services.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, fulfilment, supply chain) to ensure high-quality service and build repeat business.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline, meet sales targets, and contribute to strategy around territory/segmentation.
- Drive commercial conversations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
About You
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven sales experience (B2B) within a product / services environment, ideally from stationery, print, branded merchandise, workwear or related sectors.
- Either a track-record of generating your own business (i.e., you bring contacts / pipeline) or you are a skilled Account Manager keen to step strongly into new business.
- Strong relationship-building skills, commercial acumen, resilience and a self-motivated mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
- A willingness to travel (UK wide) and work flexibly (client visits, remote/home working).
- A full UK driving licence is preferable.
