My client is a leading supplier of high-quality catering disposables to the foodservice, hospitality, and event sectors. Our extensive range includes eco-friendly packaging, tableware, cutlery, cups, napkins, and cleaning consumables. With a strong reputation for reliability, service, and innovation, we support clients across restaurants, catering companies, wholesalers, and contract caterers.

They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new sales and build long-lasting relationships within the catering and hospitality sector. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities as well as growing exiting accounts

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the catering, hospitality, and wholesale sectors
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with potential clients
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., customer service, procurement, and logistics) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments
  • Attend relevant trade shows and networking events to promote the brand

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in business development, field sales, or account management - ideally within catering disposables, foodservice packaging, or consumables
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
