My client is a leading supplier of high-quality catering disposables to the foodservice, hospitality, and event sectors. Our extensive range includes eco-friendly packaging, tableware, cutlery, cups, napkins, and cleaning consumables. With a strong reputation for reliability, service, and innovation, we support clients across restaurants, catering companies, wholesalers, and contract caterers.
They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new sales and build long-lasting relationships within the catering and hospitality sector. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities as well as growing exiting accounts
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the catering, hospitality, and wholesale sectors
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations with potential clients
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., customer service, procurement, and logistics) to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments
- Attend relevant trade shows and networking events to promote the brand
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in business development, field sales, or account management - ideally within catering disposables, foodservice packaging, or consumables
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Self-motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
