My client is a flexible packaging specialist, who has a consistent record of growth and long-term customer relationships, the business prides itself on being collaborative, responsive, and solution-focused. They supply brands across the FMCG, food, pet care and home & lifestyle sectors, with a range of products including; BOPP & PP/PE Recyclable Bags, Stand Up Pouches, Flat bottom and Quad seal bags, Heavy Duty Bags and Sacks.

They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their team, you will be responsible for generating and managing your own accounts, The role offers nationwide coverage, so you can be based anywhere in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Managing own customer accounts on a daily basis.
• Liaising with customers (mainly UK based) and factories overseas (Europe & Asia).
• Prospecting new markets and replying to sales enquiries.
• Visiting customers on a regular basis.
• Working closely with the sales admin team to follow up processes from order to delivery.
• Attending trade shows

Knowledge / Experience:

• Preferred experience within the flexible packaging sector.
• Able to work autonomously and to organise own diary / workloads.
• Must be a good communicator with CRM and IT experience.
