Our client is an well established UK business with an annual turnover of approximately £3 million, specialising in Shopfitting, Retail, POS, Semi Permanent Solutions. The organisation delivers high-quality, creative solutions across multiple sectors, including health & beauty, electronics and leisure.
They are seeking a commercially focused and ambitious Business Development Manager to join the team. This hybrid role will cover the UK and is responsible for driving new business growth while maintaining and expanding existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach and win new business opportunities in target markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to negotiation and closing.
- Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Work closely with internal teams to create tailored proposals and solutions.
- Achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Provide regular updates on market trends and competitor activity.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings across the UK.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within POS, fabrication, small format, or semi-permanent projects.
- Experience selling into health & beauty, electronics, or leisure sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
