BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE / OR MANAGER (EXPERIENCED OR TRAINEE) - PACKAGING
HOME / OFFICE / HYBRID BASED DEPENDING ON LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE
Salary £Attractive Salary (Experience Based) + Company Bonus Scheme or Commission + Company Car + Laptop + Mobile + Company Pension
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday (8.30am to 5pm) and Friday (8.30am till 3pm)
Our client is a privately owned packaging business based in Cheshire and has over 70 years of experience servicing the needs and requirements of customers in relation to all different types of end user packaging products for the UK and Irish marketplaces.
The company has a dynamic team of individuals which are focused on the growth potential of the business, driven by the will to succeed in every aspect and in relation to their customers' needs and packaging requirements.
Their Products:
- FIBC's including Type A, B, C & D, BRC (Hygiene) Pharmaceutical, General and Antistatic FIBC's, WPP Sacks, BOPP Sacks, Botany Bags, Box Bales, Fabric Rolls, Envelope Bags, Shoe Bags & Wool Bags.
- PE Stretch/Shrink Hood, FFS/Tubular FFS (Form, Fill & Seal) Machine/Hand Films, Valve Sacks, Open mouth Sacks with/without gussets, Pallet Covers both Shrink/Non-Shrink, Base/Top sheets & Centre-folded Covers.
- Paper sacks, valve sacks, open mouthed, gusseted/block bottom, and Crepe.
- Food packaging films, pouches & labels.
- Polyester/Polypropylene yarns

The Role / Requirements:
- An outgoing person with a strong character and personality, a skilled negotiator with the ability to join and integrate with an established team.
- The duties and responsibilities of a Business Development Executive / Manager are mainly concerned with sales, management and client relations.
- Identifying new packaging business opportunities (cold calling), including potential new markets, new / existing clients, new partnerships or new products and services
- Traveling to visit customers within the UK.
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
- Building relationships with new / existing clients, gauging needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients.
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition within the industry and positioning.
The client is open to considering ambitious candidates looking for a step into sales (they are happy to train from the ground up) or experience polythene sales people who can hit the ground running.
