Our Client is one of Ireland's leading importers and distributors of packaging machinery and packaging from trays, punnets, nets, thermal ribbons and films through to industrial packaging, offering innovative solutions to meet their customer's demands in todays' ever increasingly challenging environment.

You will operate as a packaging Sales Representative with responsibility for developing new business across Southern Ireland. The role is a mix of managing existing accounts whilst also driving new business. Historically business was concentrated on the fresh produce industry. However, the Company's product offering now serves a diverse range of industries from Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Printing, Meat, Fish and Poultry Packers.

They have built up long term relationships with leading UK, European and Far Eastern suppliers of packaging which means they are confident of satisfying all their clients' packing requirements.

Key Skills:

• The candidate will have a significant presence and excellent influencing skills together with a motivational and empowering client relationship building style.
• This combined with a confident and hardworking approach is critical to the success of the role.
• Must display strong commercial attributes and the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
• Whilst the exact types of packaging previously sold isn't important, it is essential that the appointed candidate has a proven track record of equipment sales into the food sector.
