Salary: Based on knowledge and experience

About The Role:

Are you ready to grow your career in a dynamic, international environment? This International Packaging Group is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join the UK Sales Team.

Whether you're just starting out or have 3-5+ years of sales experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the most iconic UK and Irish brands in Personal Care, Beauty, Homecare, Automotive, Food, and Pharma.

You'll report directly to the UK Sales Manager and play a key role in managing and expanding customer relationships, driving business development, and ensuring smooth collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers across the UK & Ireland
  • Conduct customer visits to gain insight into key needs and challenges
  • Follow up on samples, quotations, and new business development leads
  • Track sales performance vs. budget and previous year per customer
  • Monitor and manage gross margins and request target price ranges where applicable
  • Assess the potential of new customers and maintain existing accounts
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Broad spectrum of support responsibilities:
  • Register and process visit reports & handle complaint registration and follow-up
  • Update and manage annual contracts (e.g., raw material pricing)
  • Maintain accurate customer data in AFAS
  • Answer customer calls and emails professionally
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices

  • Organised and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally to the Netherlands
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in packaging is a plus: but not required.
  • Full training will be provided
