UK & IRELAND SALES MANAGER - PRINT & PACKAGING FINISHING EQUIPMENT

HOME BASED (UK OR IRELAND)

Salary: £DOE + Commission + Company Car / Car Allowance

Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer of advanced finishing and converting equipment for the label and packaging industry. Their portfolio includes narrow web slitter rewinders, inspection systems, rotary die-cutting equipment, digital label converting lines, and flexible packaging finishing machinery.
With a reputation for engineering excellence, innovation, and outstanding customer support, they supply leading label & packaging converters and printers worldwide. As part of an ambitious long-term investment and growth strategy, they are now seeking an experienced UK & Ireland Sales Manager to drive sales across the region.

The Role:
This is a home-based, field-based role responsible for managing an established customer base while developing new business opportunities throughout the UK and Ireland. You will work with converters, printers, and packaging manufacturers, promoting a market-leading range of capital equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets across the UK and Ireland.
  • Develop existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Conduct equipment presentations, demonstrations, and commercial discussions with customers.
  • Work closely with engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience selling capital equipment within the packaging/ labelling converting, narrow web printing, or print and packaging machinery sectors.
  • Good understanding of label production, converting, or finishing processes.
  • Successful track record in both account management and new business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the UK and Ireland.
