SIGNAGE PRODUCTION OPERATIVE / SUPERVISOR (X2)

HAMPSHIRE

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (½ hour lunch)

Our client is a well-established signage company and they are currently recruiting two experienced Signage Production Operatives. One of these positions is ideally suited to a candidate with supervisory experience, capable of supporting the production team leader and assisting with day-to-day workflow management on the shop floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, motivated team in a busy production environment, working on a wide variety of creative signage and display projects. The key responsibilities will include:

• Application of vinyl to a range of substrates with precision and care
• Cutting, weeding, and taping of vinyl graphics using plotters and associated software
• Confident use of Kongsberg or Zund cutting tables,
• Operation of large format UV printers such as Vutek, Durst, or similar
• Use of laminators for protective lamination and mounting vinyls to substrates
• Working knowledge of ACM, foamex, and various vinyl grades for indoor/outdoor use
• Ability to select and work with appropriate materials depending on application requirements
• Support in assembling and finishing signage projects to the highest standard
• Potential to use woodwork and/or metalwork skills where required (desirable, not essential)
• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Take pride in work with strong attention to detail
• Prioritise workload and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

For Supervisory Candidate:

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day production workflow
• Provide guidance and support to other team members
• Help ensure quality standards and deadlines are met efficiently

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in signage production is essential
• Comfortable with large format print and finishing processes
• A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
• Good communication and team-working skills
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
