SIGNAGE PRODUCTION OPERATIVE / SUPERVISOR (X2)

£Negotiable (Depending on Experience) + Overtime (Time & ½) + 23 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + Free on-site parking, supportive working environment + Progression Opportunities
Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm (½ hour lunch)
Our client is a well-established signage company and they are currently recruiting two experienced Signage Production Operatives. One of these positions is ideally suited to a candidate with supervisory experience, capable of supporting the production team leader and assisting with day-to-day workflow management on the shop floor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, motivated team in a busy production environment, working on a wide variety of creative signage and display projects. The key responsibilities will include:
- Application of vinyl to a range of substrates with precision and care
- Cutting, weeding, and taping of vinyl graphics using plotters and associated software
- Confident use of Kongsberg or Zund cutting tables,
- Operation of large format UV printers such as Vutek, Durst, or similar
- Use of laminators for protective lamination and mounting vinyls to substrates
- Working knowledge of ACM, foamex, and various vinyl grades for indoor/outdoor use
- Ability to select and work with appropriate materials depending on application requirements
- Support in assembling and finishing signage projects to the highest standard
- Potential to use woodwork and/or metalwork skills where required (desirable, not essential)
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Take pride in work with strong attention to detail
- Prioritise workload and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
For Supervisory Candidate:
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day production workflow
- Provide guidance and support to other team members
- Help ensure quality standards and deadlines are met efficiently
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in signage production is essential
- Comfortable with large format print and finishing processes
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision
- Good communication and team-working skills
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
