Up to £40K (Depending on Experience) + Pension + Benefits + 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days after 5 years of service (1 day per year)

Job Description: They are recruiting an experienced Signage Estimator to manage and deliver accurate cost estimates for signage projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the signage industry, demonstrating expertise in cost estimation, project management, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a variety of signage projects, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
• Analyse project requirements, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope and complexity of the project.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices and ensure project feasibility.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of estimates.
• Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing structures to support future projects.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice and solutions.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bids, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the signage industry is essential.
• Strong understanding of signage materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methods.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in using estimating tools.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
