SIGNAGE DESIGNER - CAD EXPERIENCE

Our client is a leading signage and large-format print manufacturer based in Warwickshire, working with blue-chip and household name brands.
They have an exciting opportunity within their design department for an experienced Signage Designer with CAD experience to join their team.
This role would suit a technically minded Designer with a strong understanding of signage, who can produce accurate technical drawings, signage packages and schemes, supporting projects from initial brief through to final production.

Responsibilities:

• Creating detailed technical signage drawings, packages and schemes using CAD software.
• Developing signage designs and artwork in line with specifications provided by Project Managers.
• Interpreting project briefs and translating requirements into accurate, practical design solutions.
• Ensuring all designs adhere to client brand guidelines and specifications.
• Preparing and setting up files for final production.
• Creating master templates for use throughout the company.
• Working closely with Project Managers and the wider team to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Managing multiple projects and working to tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in signage design, ideally within the signage, graphics or large-format print industry.
• Experience using CAD software to produce technical drawings.
• A strong understanding of signage design, construction and manufacturing processes.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant industry software.
• A practical, technically minded approach, with the ability to understand how designs translate into finished signage.
• Excellent attention to detail and a creative eye.
• The ability to interpret technical specifications and work effectively to deadlines.
