SIGN FITTER X1 & FITTERS MATE X1

An established signage contractor is looking to recruit both an experienced Sign Fitter and a Fitters Mate to support projects across the Glasgow and Gateshead regions.

Both roles will involve frequent travel and working away from home during the week.

Sign Fitter Responsibilities:

• Installation of various signage types
• Leading or supporting installations on-site
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards

Fitters Mate Responsibilities:

• Assisting the fitter with installations
• Preparing materials, tools, and site areas
• Supporting safe and efficient project delivery

Requirements:

• Fitter: Previous signage installation experience required
• Fitters Mate: Experience in construction or installation environments desirable
• Willingness to travel and stay away Monday to Friday
• CSCS card preferred
• IPAF, PASMA, SPA certifications advantageous

Hours & Pay:

• 38 contracted hours per week
• Overtime paid at time and a half
• Typical weekly earnings (48 hours):
• Fitter: approx. £820
• Fitters Mate: approx. £730
