Our client is a print and packaging management company with mailing and production facilities, with over 30 years of industry experience the company offers a broad range of all premium printed packaging solutions, commercial print and mailing
Our client is currently looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team, they are seeking a self-supporting team player who can come in and help build the business, you will be able to sell all aspects of packaging, print and mailing; the role will be split approx. 60% generating new business and 40% managing existing accounts
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue and develop new business opportunities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts while bringing in new business
- Conduct customer visits to understand requirements and promote company products
- Sourcing and winning new business selling a diverse range of products
- Using well trusted sales techniques to maximise sales for the packaging business across the product range
- Building strong and long-lasting commercial relationships creating real opportunities for future sales growth within the packaging division
Requirements:
- Previous experience selling packaging / commercial print / mailing
- Positive sales approach, good connections and wide sector knowledge
- Ability to build long standing customer relationships
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
- Confident communicator, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
