SALES MANAGER - BLOW MOULDED PRODUCTS

HOME-BASED

£50K - £60K Depending On Experience + Car / Car Allowance + mobile + Laptop + Pension

We are working with an established manufacturer of blow moulded plastic products, supplying customers across a range of sectors.

They are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business across the UK, with a particular focus on the Homecare, Petcare, Car Care and Chemical markets.

This is a hands-on, new business-focused sales role where you will be responsible for identifying new customers, developing relationships and growing sales across these key sectors, while also managing and expanding existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and win new business across the UK
• Target customers within the Homecare, Petcare, Car Care and Chemical sectors
• Identify and approach manufacturers, brands and distributors requiring blow moulded plastic packaging/products
• Generate leads, arrange meetings and develop new customer relationships
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Visit customers and prospects across the UK
• Understand customer requirements and work with the technical and production teams to develop suitable solutions
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and close new business
• Monitor competitor activity and identify new market opportunities
• Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts
• Work towards agreed sales, revenue and margin targets

Requirements:

• Proven B2B sales experience within plastics, packaging or manufacturing
• A strong track record in new business development and winning new accounts
• Experience selling into Homecare, Petcare, Car Care or Chemical markets would be highly advantageous
• Knowledge of blow moulding or other plastic manufacturing processes
• Commercially minded with the confidence to negotiate and close deals
• Comfortable dealing with purchasing, technical and senior decision-makers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
