Circa £35-40K + Company Bonus + Pension + Phone + Laptop

Our Client is an innovative, profitable and well-established supplier of bespoke primary packaging to international food and beverage brands. They have a requirement for a Quality & Technical Manager reporting to the Commercial Director, to provide administrative support to both UK and external based sales team in terms of order processing delivery of goods. Through building strong and long-term customer relationships, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to end users and / or warehousing, delivering accurate paperwork through the supply chain. You will also be providing administrative cover support to the UK sales team, to ensure that service levels and relationships are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities to include but not restricted to:

  • To liaise with colleagues and third parties to arrange import and exporting of goods required for the business.
  • To build customer relationships through regular contact, whilst sometimes having to communicate difficult updates.
  • To prepare and provide all relevant paperwork, including sales orders, shipping documents, customs documents etc.
  • To maintain a high standards for existing and develop new technical drawings as required.
  • To develop and present quotations and tenders and follow these up in a timely manner.
  • Request and send out samples and manage the sample room as required.
  • To liaise with the Company's finance team in taking up credit references on new accounts, agreeing credit terms and ensuring timely collection of debts from all customers.
  • Provide administrative support for UK sales orders, through maintaining correct stock levels, timely delivery of orders, and maintenance of all proper records and documents.
  • Providing assistance to the UK Sales team as required.
  • Attend and assist with exhibitions and other industry events as requested.
  • To work closely with colleagues to maintain and further develop a professional but friendly can-do culture at all times.
  • Ensure that everyone you interact with is treated with respect and honesty and to endeavour to provide a positive experience.
  • Attend internal and external meetings as appropriate.
  • Acting as an Ambassador and role model for the Company and will exhibit the values of the Company.
