PROJECT MANAGER - LARGE FORMAT, EXHIBITIONS & LIVE EVENTS

£35K-£50K DOE + Company Pension + Overtime (where applicable)
Working Pattern:
* 4 days office-based
* 1 day working from home
* Occasional onsite project delivery
* Flexibility required - the events industry is not always strictly 9-5
Our client is a leading large format graphics and live events specialist, delivering high-impact visual solutions across exhibitions, venue takeovers, branded environments and live events. Working with a wide range of clients and agencies, they manage projects from concept through to production, installation and final delivery.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
This role would suit someone with strong industry knowledge who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple bespoke projects simultaneously.
The successful candidate is likely to support a Sales Director specialising in live events, helping to deliver projects to the highest standard while maintaining excellent client relationships and commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from initial brief through to production, installation and completion
- Act as the key point of contact between clients, suppliers and internal departments
- Coordinate production schedules, budgets, timelines and project delivery
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Support onsite project installations and live event delivery where required
- Maintain strong communication throughout all project stages
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to client expectations
- Work collaboratively with production, sales and operational teams
- Monitor project costs, margins and operational efficiencies
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience within the large format print, exhibitions or live events industry
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience working with framing systems such as TFS, BeMatrix and/or Aluvision
- Experience delivering exhibition stands, venue takeovers and small-scale expos
- Print production knowledge is essential
- Strong experience in at least one of the following is essential: framing systems, exhibitions/live events, or print production
- Framing experience is highly desirable as this is harder to train than print knowledge
- Commercial awareness with a good understanding of budgets, margins and delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Excel and project management systems
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
