Our client makes impressive and continual investment into their business and employees as they are now looking to take the next step in their development and expansion plans.
They are currently seeking a Production CI Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for driving and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction. You'll focus on optimising resources, reducing waste, improving quality, and maintaining high housekeeping standards, while working closely with planning and production teams to maximise efficiency and manage controllable costs. This position requires a proactive, solutions-focused leader with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will be reporting directly to the Operations Manager
- Support the Operations Manager in ensuring reliable customer supply by implementing effective continuous improvement strategies across all company sites to enhance quality and service performance
- Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities in production, safety, and quality, implementing corrective actions to achieve measurable results
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive register of business processes and procedures, highlighting those requiring refinement or development, with clear timelines and ownership
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on achieving world-class standards in waste reduction across all sites
- Drive the identification, development, and implementation of initiatives that improve product performance and effectiveness
- Lead Profit Improvement Projects (PIPs) to deliver optimal cost efficiencies and maximise business returns
- Develop and execute productivity improvement initiatives targeting conversion costs, downtime reduction, and improved run speeds
- Lead and facilitate problem-solving and improvement projects to enhance customer value across the operational group
- Engage and guide cross-functional teams in adopting and sustaining best practice processes throughout the company
- Analyse business improvement opportunities across manufacturing and administrative functions
- Promote and support best practice systems by partnering with departmental leaders in safety and quality
- Mentor and develop site production leadership teams in best practice corrugated manufacturing processes and procedures
- Coach and support production leaders to ensure performance KPIs and budget targets are consistently achieved
- Identify and address training needs across production teams, ensuring delivery of effective, best-practice learning programs
- Collaborate with Production and Operations Managers to recruit, train, and retain skilled, high-performing machine crews
- Take ownership of production improvement and success projects, ensuring completion within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Set and monitor clear KPI targets (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually), motivating teams to meet and exceed performance expectations
- Ensure all Continuous Improvement initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals
- Maintain compliance with WHS, Quality, and environmental standards, including safe work procedures and legislative requirements
- Provide management support as required, including training, project participation, and cross-functional initiatives
- Identify personal training and development needs and discuss these with the Operations Manager
- Undertake appropriate company-supported training relevant to the role
- Actively participate in training and multi-skilling initiatives
- Support the onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing employees
- Promote and participate in the training and professional growth of team members
