Up to £60K (Depending on Experience)

Holidays: 20 Days + 8 Bank Holiday

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities, including design, production and interfacing with customers. This role requires proficiency in graphical design, client specifications/approval processes, briefing the production team and overseeing project delivery. Additionally, the Operations Manager supports sales and marketing activities. The primary products include signage graphics, interior décor/architectural film, window manifestations and vehicle graphics, with occasional site visits required.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Manage the operational team to deliver strong outcomes.
  • Manage a small number of outsourced activities.
  • Planning - Prioritise and manage design and production workloads, scheduling jobs, equipment maintenance and routine activities.
  • Oversee the requirements specifications, visual representations, approval and quotation processes ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Manage the creation of innovative, leading-edge design concepts and solutions with maximum visual impact.
  • Comprehend material specifications and their usage and offer expert technical and design guidance for graphics and signage.
  • Prepare print and cut files and a work package for each project for handover to production, identifying all relevant information, material supply status and specific project requirements.
  • Liaise with approved suppliers, sourcing materials in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Involvement in invoicing, credit control, stock management and financial processes.
  • Where appropriate, coordinate and attend meetings, site surveys and installations with existing and potential clients both on and off-site.
  • Support sales and marketing activities, including website, social media and events.
  • Engage and interact with customers in a responsive manner, demonstrating high levels of customer service. 
  • Ability to work under pressure, achieving objectives to a high standard.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Driven, keen to learn, with the ability to lead and motivate the team.
