OPERATIONS MANAGER - PRINT

Our client is a privately owned B1 Litho Print, Digital Print, Cartons, and Creative Company based in Essex who have been established for over 30 years. They invest in quality kit as well as their staff to ensure their customers receive the best possible service.

They are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager reporting to the Operations Director, managing a team of 30 staff across manufacturing and production.

Main Purpose of the Role:

• The control of business operations to ensure streamlined production of goods and services on time and in full, managing processes, budgets, and people.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
• Supporting the company's vision and process ideals.
• Ensuring staff working on processes are happy and operating efficiently.
• Supporting all functions of the business to work together.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed.
• Promote manufacturing excellence and support manufacturing teams in achieving KPI targets and maintenance routines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Print manufacturing knowledge including colour management.
• Ability to create a good plan and determination to accomplish goals.
• The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions.
• Commercial awareness and numeracy skills.
• IT literacy.
• The ability to manage change.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people.
• Negotiation and analytical skills.
• A positive attitude to continued learning.
