NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
HYBRID WORKING - 2 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE SOUTH WALES OFFICE
Salary Guide £35-40K (Depending on Experience) + Commission + Car Allowance
Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer supplying cartons, solid board and presentation packaging into a range of market sectors including, cosmetic, beauty, fashion, confectionary, food, drinks, gifting etc. throughout the UK. They specialise in delivering high-quality packaging solutions that meet their customers' unique requirements. As BRC AA+ certified facility, they are renowned for delivering outstanding quality, service and value.
They are currently looking for an experienced and driven New Business Development Manager to join their sales team to expand the customer base within the packaging sector. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities in order to help the company deliver exceptional packaging solutions to a range of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential new customers, analysing their packaging needs
- Develop and execute effective strategies to generate leads and win new business
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
- Develop clear, compelling proposals including pricing, specifications and delivery timelines
- Lead successful negotiations to secure favourable terms and close deals
- Accurately forecast revenue and produce regular sales reports
- Work closely with internal teams such as production and design to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the packaging industry
- Solid understanding of the packaging market and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
