Our client is a leading Signage company based in the South East, they are currently looking for a Sales Lead (New Business Development Manager) to driving revenue and achieve sales targets. This involves developing and implementing sales strategies inline with Technical Signs business and marketing strategy.
Essential to the role's success is building and maintaining strong client relationships during the sales process, client onboarding and during transition of business from sales to house accounts.
The Sale Lead supports the development of a defined and measurable sales process. Key pipeline stages should include as minimum: Inbound Prospective Leads (self-engaged) / Outbound Lead Generation (yet to engage) / Lead Qualification / Sales Prospect (ready to engage) / Deal Profiling / Meeting / Value Proposal / Probability of Close
Responsibilities:
- Market Insight: Provide monthly feedback into change and movement in the market. Collaborate with marketing to agree market messaging and key customer communications.
- Standard Setting: Demonstrate a professional and best practice approach amongst peer group. Providing guidance and support to help the businesses overarching sales objectives. Coordinate twice monthly sales meetings and create clear measurable actions for participants.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including sector targeting, pricing, and sales tactics.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Sales Process Definition: Be part of the team to define the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
- Project Management: Develop detailed briefs and coordinate project requirement with commercial, production, design, and installation teams.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Monthly.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Revenue Generation: Self-driven sales and revenue growth
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or issues promptly.
- Transition to BAU: Provide a seamless and effective client handover to business as usual project team
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within the signage or graphic industry.
- Team Skills: Ability to engage and motivate with internal teams, providing guidance and support.
- Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve targets across target audiences and sectors.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build strong client relationships.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with various teams.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with signage materials, processes, and installation techniques.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and challenges.
- CRM Software Proficiency: Experience with Customer Relationship Management
