NATIONAL SALES MANAGER - DIGITAL LABELLING

CENTRAL UK LOCATION PREFERRED

Our client is a world class International Group offering the latest digital print and bespoke conversion technology to deliver award-winning label solutions.

Manufacturing Labels from the standard and functional, vibrant and eye-catching, to high end embellished labels (and everything in between), championing the best in digital capabilities and providing solutions to Clients' marketing requirements.

They require a high calibre Sales Manager in a National role to develop business opportunities and to nuture and grow accounts in the Label sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Be actively involved in new business generation via cold calling and researching.
  • To manage designated accounts to ensure that the client's needs are met.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Liaising with internal members of staff.
  • To be the first point of contact for the company and customers.
  • Develop leads into new business opportunities and customers.
  • To support the customer base with product selection and product training where necessary.
  • Compiling reports on an accurate basis as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the printing industry, preferably self-adhesive labels, with strong technical product knowledge (flexo or digital print experience required).
  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive (at a high level) or a relevant role in a packaging sales environment.
  • Experience developing customer accounts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Based in the Midlands or be within easy access to motorway networks.
