NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
HOMEBASED - MIDLANDS TERRITORY - NORTH OF M4 CORRIDOR AND SOUTH OF THE M62 CORRIDOR
SALARY £COMPETITIVE (Depending on Experience) + 28 Days Annual Leave + Pension Scheme + Fully Expensed Company Car + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am till 5:00pm
Our client is a leading supplier of new and used pallets to various industries across the UK. Offering a full-service pallet operation from one off load to trailer loads a week. They make standard wooden pallets and have contacts to supply bespoke pallets that are designed to customer specifications while also repairing pallets on and off site.
Due to currently having rapid and sustained growth, fuelled by the success of several major nationwide contracts. They are currently seeking an experienced and proactive National Account Manager to support and develop key client relationships.
You will take ownership of several high-profile national accounts, driving sales across new and used pallet solutions, as well as promoting the growing range of pallet-related services. The ideal candidate will be located between the M4 and M62 corridors
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow existing national accounts nationally
- Conduct regular reviews of client distribution networks
- Promote and sell both new and second-hand pallets
- Develop and deliver pallet-related services, including recovery, repair, and maintenance
- Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders
- Identify new commercial opportunities within existing accounts
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in supply chain or logistics
- At least 2 years' experience in national/key account management
- Experience with national or european-level accounts
- Sound understanding of the sales process and customer relationship development
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to Travel
- Logistics supply chains, building products or construction materials experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
