Shift Patterns: Monday - Thursday: 6pm - 6am OR Friday - Sunday: 6pm - 6am

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and highly regarded retail display and manufacturing business seeking three experienced Large Format Printers to join its production team on a night-shift basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, creative manufacturing environment producing high-quality graphics and display solutions for retail and brand environments. Working with a range of modern large-format print and finishing equipment, you will play an important role in ensuring print projects are produced to the required quality standards and delivered efficiently.

With a generous unsociable-hours package, overtime paid at time-and-a-half and a choice of two shift patterns, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled print professional looking for a rewarding night-shift position. As a Large Format Printer, you will be responsible for operating large-format print and finishing equipment, producing high-quality graphics and supporting the smooth running of the night-shift production operation.

• Operating flatbed SwissQ large-format printers and HP Latex printers.
• Setting up and running print jobs in line with production requirements.
• Operating cutting tables and laminating equipment.
• Ensuring printed graphics meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Checking artwork, materials and finished output for accuracy and consistency.
• Monitoring print quality and identifying any issues during production.
• Carrying out routine machine checks and maintaining a clean, organised working area.
• Working efficiently to meet production deadlines and shift targets.
• Following all relevant health and safety and production procedures.
• Supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the night-shift operation.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience operating large-format digital printing equipment.
• Experience with flatbed and / or roll-to-roll printing technology.
• Knowledge of print production processes and quality control.
• Experience operating cutting tables and laminating equipment.
• A good eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work to deadlines.
• A willingness to work one of the advertised night-shift patterns.
• Experience with SwissQ Flatbed Printers and HP Latex equipment would be particularly advantageous.
